Sending mail to federal government officials at Parliament Hill is free, no postage is required, no matter how many letters you send. You may think that the Prime Minister, the Minister of Public Safety, or your MP will just ignore your letter. They normally would, but not when there are thousands of pieces of mail showing up at their offices every month. The only way to make that happen is if everyone sends them letters. First, ask them to send out a request to all their members to go to SCRAPC21.CA and participate in these activities. They can send this out via their email newsletter and post it on all their social media accounts.

Second, ask them to request a free poster pack from the CCFR and post a set of them in every range on their property. These posters are simple, attractive instructions on what they can do to stop C-21 and a separate poster on how this bill affects them. Not everyone has access to the internet, but we need everyone to participate in letter writing and spreading awareness of what the Liberals are doing.

As most social issues are these days, gun control is an information war. The government and media spreads blatant disinformation and the only people who can correct the record is us. The CCFR has produced an online archive of social media content. Videos, social media placards, memes, reports and other content is available to download directly on to your computer so you can post it as your own and use it to reply to the government and media’s social media posts.

As unfortunate as it is, in our system, the only real way to protect your right to own and use firearms is to keep people who want to take your property out of the government. The only way to do that is to vote them out, and work to keep them out. History truly is made by those who show up.
